Course Description

The Basic Safety & Loss Prevention course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of practical industrial safety and its crucial role in loss prevention. The course covers a wide range of topics, including the current safety and health movement, accident prevention programs, laws and regulations, product safety, promoting safety culture, accident effects, theories of accident causation, cost analysis of accidents, various workplace hazards (ergonomic, mechanical, electrical, pressure, fire, radiation), industrial hygiene, personal protective equipment, and work permits. By exploring these subjects, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and mitigate potential risks, create a safer work environment, and minimize loss due to accidents and incidents.
