Course Description

Firefighting requires skills in combating, extinguishing, and preventing fires, answering emergency calls, operating and maintaining fire department equipment and quarters, and extensive training in performing firefighting and rescue activities. The course provides a basic level of understanding and awareness of firefighting knowledge and practical skills. Participants are introduced to fire apparatus operations, firefighting equipment and their applications.

To enhance the participants’ knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to effectively fight a fire.

By the end of this course, participant will be able to:

• Provide clear understanding of duties.
• Ability of the attendee to identify hazards & perform remedy action.
• Identify & skillfully operate fire protection equipment.
• Capable to competently respond to mitigate & control emergency cases.
• Proper use & handling of PPE.
