Course Description

Warehouses and stores are often under-rated operations in organisations, yet they are essential in providing customer service. The purpose of this seminar is to show how to implement all of the essential tools for the effective management of warehousing and stores. Employers have a continuing responsibility to provide adequate supervision and it is therefore essential that supervisors themselves have sufficient training and knowledge to recognize safe and unsafe practices. Outline of topics covered Statistics, Employer Responsibility, Employee Responsibility, the Need for Training Certification, Racking, Signage, First Aid, Warehouse Check, Accident and Report Procedures.
